Deeply respected by his teams for exemplifying authentic care for others, Steve was known for leading with candor, courage, and passion. An influential voice in his field, he served on the Executive Board of the Conference Board Analytics Council and an organizational performance consortium for Connected Commons. He was a featured speaker at Conference Board presentations on HR analytics and talent management. Always curious, Steve sought out intellectual stimulation, welcomed debate, and facilitated thought-provoking conversation. He held a PhD and MA in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Connecticut and earned a BS in Biology from Central Connecticut State University.
